U.S. companies and organizations are legally bound to inform their employees of their benefits options, including federal legalese. The challenge is always to communicate the requisite spreadsheets and detailed provisions in a clear and compelling way. Beho!d has brought a bright and healthful design to this challenge over the years, also meticulously typesetting the data in the clearest ways possible. In addition, Beho!d managed the development of an online system that was equally simple and clear while sophisticated enough to handle the multitude of exceptions and special cases inherent to benefits plans.

For the launch of Global Innovations for Fair Trade, Beho!d was tasked with creating the backdrop for their trade fair kiosk. Content needed to be above table-level so that critical information would be visible to expo visitors. A second banner was commissioned to point visitors to the kiosk. The final result is eye-catching, fulfilling these criteria while presenting GIFFT's three primary goals in appropriate imagery.

After a very layered, filtered, and image based approach in 2007, for YFCAMP's 2008 brochure I sought to establish its uniqueness by using vector artwork almost exclusively. The result was a set of silhouettes of young people in action and a series of leafy imprints for each camp title. In addition, we continued the visual metaphor of the tree that has characterized and unified all of our YFCAMP branding, but this time with a simplified, vector wood grain. The final product was a hit, capturing the boundless fun of camp as well as the printed page can.

For YFCAMP's 2007 mailer, Beho!d developed a brochure and DVD carrier in one. Using a stickable DVD nub, the brochure serves multiple purposes at minimal cost and waste. A simple, transparent sticker encloses the foldable brochure for mailing. The design and imagery captures the spectacular natural setting as well as the energy and boundless fun of a camp experience. In 2007, Beho!d also proposed a tagline for YFCAMP that they have embraced as capturing the essence of what they offer: YFCAMP. Where Everything Changes.
